I was the news and opinion section editor at my first publication, the Mesa Press, for my first two years of college. I am currently a staff writer at SDSU's Daily Aztec, where I'm a member of the breaking news team. I mostly spend my time writing news and op-ed stories (or just following assignments that my editors give me!) In the future, I hope to go into investigative journalism. I would love to get into freelancing work as well; I love the idea of being able to work from anywhere and write about anything. I would also love to get into some editing work again! I really thrived in that position in the past, and I miss it quite a bit.
